Join Us in Supporting The Andy Cole Fund
At A-One Insurance, we believe in the power of community, resilience, and coming together to support those in need. This year, some of our team are embarking on a special journey inspired by colleague, Vikkie, whose story has touched all of our hearts and motivated us to take action.

A Story of Strength and Courage
Vikkie is a dedicated working mum who, for the past 18 months, has been on the donor list waiting for a kidney transplant. Living with just 1% kidney function, she faces daily battles with her health while striving to maintain a sense of normalcy for her two young children. Thankfully, she has the unwavering support of her husband, family, and friends—but we know that not everyone in her position is as fortunate. That’s why we want to make a difference.
Why The Andy Cole Fund?
As football fans, our team were drawn to The Andy Cole Fund, set up to support those living with kidney disease. The fund raises money for crucial research into transplants and focuses on improving the mental health and wellbeing of patients facing the challenges of kidney failure. Inspired by Vikkie’s story, we knew this was the perfect cause to champion.
Taking on the Fan Dance Challenge
To raise awareness and funds, our very own Cai, Harry, Nick, and Rob are stepping up to the challenge of the Fan Dance on 5th July. This gruelling 24km march over Pen y Fan, the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons, is no ordinary walk—it’s an infamous test of endurance used by Special Forces as a key selection hurdle. It’s a true test of both physical and mental strength, and we are ready to take it on for this important cause.
